My life would probably be much easier if I could get into using . Seems like super-solid product, extremely performant, tons of very interesting plugins, nice community. But I just can't... Even with the nice LYT style, here's my backlinks for Andy M in Roam/Obs:

I wonder if the issue here could be at least partially resolved by an improved userland backlinks plugin.

(But I recognize, too, that a lot of why the Roam presentation is better here is that the backlink is embedded in outline, rather than prose, structure. It'd be difficult to duplicate the breadcrumbs' clarity in prose.)
Maybe could sidestep/ignore that problem. Obs has outlines. Can render bullet points with indentation based on plain text control chars. Could backlink breadcrumbs not be similarly determined only for markdown lists?
Getting the "🤫everything's actually an outline behind the scenes" type editing experience from OneNote to Obsidian would make the product perfect.
