I love being outside, but I'm a wuss when it comes to cold, so I'm always chilly and indoors and a bit sad in Dec/Jan in SF. Feel like a doofus for not realizing 'till this year: I just had to get thermal underlayers, and now I'm totally comfy outside all day in SF winter. ☀️

(Funny irony: I'm actually in Hawaii right now. I have a tradition of starting the year with a focused solo working retreat. Taking yourself on retreat is also a wonderful Thing You're Allowed to Do!)
i’m actually reading this during a break in which i’m preparing garden vegetable tomato sauce to put over roasted spaghetti squash for dinner later and was struck / recalled (notes.andymatuschak.org/My_daily_routi): you’re allowed to do mise en place throughout the day!
