Thank you for doing this! It's easy to forget how forbidding and confusing Twitter is to new users. Always feels like an odd disconnect when people call it "hellsite", etc. On the one hand: "you're using it wrong!; on the other hand, it's a shame it's difficult to use right.
yeah! would love to make it easier for people to enjoy their time here and find people they like hanging out with. writing this is something small to help that along!

also hoping this guide helps people who are already using Twitter - there's a lot of stuff between e.g. using Twitter search + various Chrome Extensions that can make Twitter more powerful + enjoyable
