I wonder if this will produce a wave of interesting new work—I sometimes hear the holding corp is a slothlike rentier (don't know how true this is).

The e-ink displays out there are so pricy, and the tech could make for such wonderful pleasant reading and viewing experiences that skip a lot of the harshness of LED and LCD screens, especially for low power stuff that doesn’t need updating often

Oh I hope! DASUNG has been doing really interesting stuff recently, they even have a 23" E Ink monitor that seems very interesting.
