I thought the same but then: The extra wins from the M1 during the period from where I buy the 13'' to when I buy a larger one compensate the extra price paid when you trade that in for the larger one :-)
(This reasoning makes less sense now that the new ones are closer)

Though that was the initial plan. Now I'm not sure if I want the 16''. At home I have a massive screen and the smaller form factor makes it easier to lug around for conferences or cafes
Well tbh, the M1 basically shreds even the i9 16" Macbook Pro (except GPU tasks - there's a pretty nice Radeon option in the 16" Intel macs).
