regarding your excellent Bear-Markdown-Export - after the external edits are synced back into Bear, are there any changes to the mobile app experience (other than revised notes- I plan to also use the link janitor too)? I'll still be able to CRUD notes on mobile?

No changes to the mobile experience. The desktop app will sync your post-edited notes to the mobile apps.
