One reason we don't have more interesting, quality structured text editors: it's *really* hard to implement table-stakes editing operations well, particularly on web. In this video, I attempt to arrow up/down and shift+up/down to select inter-line in 8 outliners. Very yikes.

hey Andy. seems like our implementation is smoother than the other structured outliners you tried. i replicated your experiment here. we don't have the EOL gotchas.

It looks like at 0:19, you position cursor after "justo", arrow down twice, then arrow up twice, and end up with your cursor one character earlier, at "just_o". Alas, no interline selection!

ah yes, good eye. especially hard when crossing indent levels. i’m sure we can dial that in. would love to figure out interline selection. need to spend some more time on it. there must be a way!
