Noodling on a scheduler for automaticity-focused spaced repetition prompts. eg: for "what minor key has four flats?", the point isn't to know the answer but to know it in <100ms. Scheduler can act more like a control system: repeat sooner / later according to diff from target.

(Yes, I know I can simulate this with remembered / forgotten but expo acceleration / deceleration doesn't behave the right way for this stuff. If one takes 250ms and the other takes 2.5s, I need to repeat the latter a lot sooner.)

Yes, this kind of thing is why I'm trying to design generic schedulers for Orbit.
I'm likewise interested in setting up all my technical piano stuff with non-expo schedulers. I need to maintain scales, arpeggi, etc in all keys; which should I play on a given day?

My instinct is probably not. Quantum Country data suggests huge variance in recall times for conceptual prompts, and I'm not sure that variance is meaningful w.r.t. actual problem-solving, in the way that reading a clef instantly is meaningful w.r.t. playing music.
