Say we discover (somehow) that it's actually impossible to simulate a human-level conscious mind on inorganic substrate. What did we discover?
(e.g. we're running in a simulation, and a resolution limit prematurely halts Moore's Law; etc)

We basically have discovered this, it’s just taking society at large and dogmatic scientists a long time to catch up.
The implication is one of two things:
1. Panpsychism is true - consciousness is a property of all matter
2. Idealism is true: mind comes before matter
