Yeah I sometimes use GPT-3 for that myself if I'm exploring an unfamiliar topic or academic field, "what are the most important concepts / terms / techniques in X?" If I prompt it well this usually gives me a decent vocabulary to both better understand and explore the space

What worries me most about AI-content is the feeling of newness it creates I spent four hours one night reading stories written by GPT-3, not because they were good but because of the immediacy of having generated a book-length text of short stories within a matter of seconds!

It made me realize in horror that AI produced content doesn't need to surpass human artists but can be addicting merely for the sense of newness and control over the process—and these are axes in which human artists could never compete

Definitely a big flip. Is the scariness just coming from the magnitude for you? Interesting how TikTok seems to sort of exemplify this already (mostly in a positive sense!)
