Loll tbh Ive only read a bit more than 1/3 of GEB bc after a certain point I skipped through and only read the fiction chapters 🐢🐰

To me, the sad part is that the thing that makes GEB fun — all the digressions into the same themes in different fields — is exactly what makes it easy to miss the point.

I mean of course I *love* GEB as a literary work—it's just that IAASL presents the core ideas more clearly (also I think he had advanced them somewhat; there's more there)
