I've noticed that I consistently experience vivid, visceral dreams when taking brief mid-day naps (usually ~20m at 8h after waking). They're not bad, just intense. I wonder why—maybe I just remember them better during day? My night-time dreams are usually mild or absent.

I don't know if you have experienced this but one of the more unsettling aspect of naps is that you can remember the taste of food or the pain inflicted on any part of your body immediately after waking up 😳

To me, the most fascinating part is how the vividness of the dreams fades away almost immediately after you wake up. Unless you try really hard to remember things, it just...goes away and then there's nothing except the feeling that you had a dream but the details are too murky.
