Adopting a spaced repetition system is the closest thing to a cheat code I can think of. 10min per day to get infinite recall of everything you care about.

Yes, actually! Language learning has been the primary use case driving development of most existing spaced repetition systems, explains a lot of their design language and assumptions.

This is a fun paper on the topic, about Anki with Spanish language learning in the classroom. Students who use Anki regularly see massive improvements… but students hate using it. :)
