More interesting COVID-arts fallout: this year's int'l collegiate a cappella championship was moved online. Instead of a live stage set, groups shot pre-recorded music videos. Very different vibe, favors diff skills. My fave was Berklee's Upper Structure:

Can't help worrying that getting produced recordings and videos made is awfully expensive for these students!

It's funny: takes so much expertise to produce a highly-energetic-sounding a cappella audio recording! Most sound *technically* perfect but energetically kinda… flat.

It's not funny. It's the problem of low-key misanthropes being oblivious. They think so little of their planetary comrades that disregarding the existence of talent, passion, purposefulness, faith, hope and love leads them to believe all can be learnt via googling + a few tries.
