Sharing early ideas with others raises the risk of being copied. Not sharing them raises the risk of having too little feedback and missing product market fit. Weigh the risks, but I’d say usually the latter threat is greater.

I can think of several companies recently that were copied pretty harshly by FAANGs...but at the idea stage, I agree it'll be slightly harder :)
