It's striking how rapidly I can generate a large number of spaced repetition prompts using clozes when writing prose notes like notes.andymatuschak.org/The_cognitive_.
I notice that I have to write carefully (eg to avoid "giving away" deletions), and the prompts are lower-quality. But fast!

The Orbit prompts link back to the notes which contain the prompt text, which for me are in Bear. Bear loads instantly, so it's no big deal to do my editing there. And my system syncs automatically, so nothing to do there.

Dumber: a script which runs every few minutes (and exits immediately if the file's not changed).

I reset them. Could keep them across updates if I was willing to insert a UUID or something in the notes, but it turns out not to be a big enough deal to bother.
