I notice that I have to write carefully (eg to avoid "giving away" deletions), and the prompts are lower-quality. But fast!

The Orbit prompts link back to the notes which contain the prompt text, which for me are in Bear. Bear loads instantly, so it's no big deal to do my editing there. And my system syncs automatically, so nothing to do there.

Dumb scripts work well! One more question: when prompts get updated, do you reset/update prompt states or leave them unchanged?

I reset them. Could keep them across updates if I was willing to insert a UUID or something in the notes, but it turns out not to be a big enough deal to bother.
