Elinor Ostrom, "Governing the Commons". I see its ideas everywhere now, and they were totally invisible/foreign to me—I saw only the privatization/regulation dichotomy before.
Can you elaborate the ideas pls Andy? (If you have 2 mins :)

I haven't read the book yet, but from the little I know I'd say that Micheal Nielsen's review here might do a good job

I'm curious what insights stand out beyond the idea that groups can come together to 'self-regulate' to protect a commons. And this is real and it can work. (With caveats)
I love her work that I have read, but I have not had a chance to actually read her book yet.
