I’m planning to open-source soon—ideally it’s eventually a protocol, not a centralized service! (Once we figure out what “it” is…)
I’m trying to balance benefit to the commons with retaining some privilege/flexibility. Tell me why this licensing plan is a bad idea?

"Eventually open-source" and CLA requirement are both 👍 to me. Would love to learn more about how this can be offered to (which is AGPL) users as seamlessly as possible.

BTW, I had built a similar Webcomponent which stores user's progress in localStorage: github.com/learn-awesome/
Would switch to if there is no data lock-in for the users.

Nice. You should be able to use Orbit right now if you like (docs.withorbit.com). I’d definitely like to avoid data lock-in, and that’s part of why I’d like to open-source it. Hoping people will contribute importers/exporters for various systems.
