I’m curious about your thoughts on the second one. What is the target audience for which that criticism applies? Does that cover your audience?

Part of what’s very interesting about it is that I don’t know. There’s a substantial literature which suggests that implicit learning activities work well for “high-proficiency” learners, once essential prereq terms are known (and poorly otherwise). Not sure how malleable this is
