I'm excited about Craft too but the block-centric interactions really bug me for prose; same issue you've identified with Notion:

This is probably way too naive, but I guess I feel like—hey, Pages makes “rich text” work with embedded objects without disrupting standard prose interactions! Maybe we can use that model elsewhere?
