Two weeks later, more springtime hope: > 1/3 of the city’s adult population has been vaccinated, with semi-regular 10k-dose days. Also, our metrics now meet the requirements for CA’s yellow tier! (though we have to spend 1 more week at red and 3 at orange before moving) 🌅

Causes for hope: as the numbers trickle in, we can see that SF's now had its first 10k vaccine day (almost 11k!) this past week! Now ~1/4 of the adult population vaccinated (at least one dose).

If we continue at last week’s rate, we’ll be done with first/only(J+J) doses at the end of May. But reports are that supplies are increasing, which would be great. Just to give a sense, a 30% increase in rate would mean finishing ~mid-May; a 50% increase would mean ~late-April.

Of course, those completion dates are modulated by how many adults actually want to get vaccinated. This CMU poll found 91% (!) of SF adults want to get one:
