1/ I've decided to leave GitHub 💖 This is my last week. It's been an honor to build tools for developers & especially to see GitHub Sponsors grow from a tiny idea into a serious source of income enabling developers to devote more time to open source (in some cases, full-time!).

2/ GitHub has taught me a lot about organizations, bias to action, the principle of charity, & so much more. This was a tough decision—there's so much more to build to help open source developers!—but that just makes me excited to see what the team does once I'm gone.

3/ I don't have concrete plans for what I'm going to do next. I have some ideas, but first I'm going to make space to deep-dive on whatever happens to pique my interest on any given day for a while. Watch out... this probably means a lot more pirate facts coming your way!
