Work on tools for thought (even v interesting work!) often fails to accrete across projects/time. Why?
I think the flywheel's usually missing a segment—different ones in industry, academia, indie contexts. Some rough thought in this patron-only post:

(5+ times in the last few months, someone's said roughly: "I've been following you all this time and had no idea you had a Patreon / shared extra writing with funders! Tell people!!" I don't like how it feels to share links to locked articles, but I guess I'll try occasionally.)

Another approach is to post the main ideas from the article as a Tweetstorm.
This gives the ideas room to breathe in the open and also allows people to support if they want the more raw and unfiltered thoughts.
