Longing for a Twitter edit button: the Harberger tax basis is on the *current* for-sale price, not the last sale value, and that difference is the critical key pricing efficiency mechanism.

Good design question. Not sure. Many platforms have experimented with variations, so I'd probably start by surveying those. Quick take:
- arbitrary edits allowed within first minute
- edits allowed within first day, with large badge
- 1+ day: you can append "errata" statements

If there are no actions (likes, retweets, ...), allow edits without restrictions (badging it as “Edited” & adding it to follower timelines may suffice)?
Preventing abuse/confusion after actions & keeping it simple is an interesting challenge. “Errata” tweets is a good idea!
