It’s an odd phenomenon: if I tweet anything even slightly crypto-adjacent, my inbox suddenly overflows with grifters—along with thoughtful, well-intentioned people to be sure, but the grifter quotient is quite noticeable. What produces this effect?

I think of grifters as more ambiguous scammers: e.g. they present as public figures using their true identity; they’re often a “founder”; generally claim some personal authority; often more nakedly self-interested than transparently fradulent; sometimes just fooling themselves.

I guess words after all just mean what we agree they mean, hence the beauty and nuance in language etc.
I’m picking up the narcissistic, sociopathic, self-promoter vibe, who might have kernels of insight but mostly use front and bluster

Yes in this case tho you tweeted about micro tx’s not being possible. Many people from the BSV community replied saying that micro tx are possible. If you scratch below the surface these people were correct. They’re just pointing out what you didn’t know.
