Silly/surprising side-benefits of sleeping with a CPAP:
* can pull covers over head and still breathe
* no more waking up dry+thirsty (humidified air, nose instead of mouth)
* reduced stuffiness from allergies (air filtered right before inhalation)
* elephant cosplay

I tried CPAP multiple times and hated it.
Ended up getting UPPP surgery. Which made a different on paper, but no change in energy.

I am not a doctor, but an important part of my treatment experience was chronic modafinil usage for a bit over a year, which is apparently indicated for CPAP-resistant EDS. You might Ask Your Doctor™:

Interesting. I managed to try a "sample pack" of Modafinil, but didn't get a benefit. Maybe because I never tried doubling the dose - I think I'm a drug super-metabolizer. (Or I'm just fat.) webseitz.fluxent.com/wiki/Modafinil

Entirely possible you don't derive any benefit from it - I don't. Same with caffeine.
You might try stronger stimulants in the amphetamine (e.g. Adderall) or methylphenidate (e.g. Concerta) families. Finding the former was a miracle for me. Gave me my life and my mind back.
