Interesting that has added auto-generation of flash cards using GPT-3. Would be interesting if it were possible to integrate 's characteristics of good cards. Could you even A/B test card quality at scale?

Maybe! I’ve spent some time trying to get GPT3 to generate good prompts but have mostly been disappointed. The examples in this post don’t make me any more optimistic. Will probably take something more involved than what’s been tried.

One idea I really liked from @randiisan: use GPT-3 to generate variations on a human-authored question (keeping answer constant) to (shallowly) increase transfer, defeat pattern matching.

Best solution may be more IA than AI, offering templates in the authoring experience to give people a good starting point.
