It’s so hard to have both great execution and high curiosity at the same time!

Boy, I really struggle with this! In the fall started playing with a silly mantra which helped a bit. If I find myself stuck in a super execution-y place, I say aloud “Get curious!!” and try to identify some real curiosity to drive me, which often means changing tasks.

It’s ridiculous of course but it sometimes produces a weird “vase/face” flip effect where my mindset becomes expansive instead of operational, even when doing the same tasks.
Sometimes I shrug and say “eh, not curious, but gotta do this anyway.” Good to notice / drive that down.
As long as you keep doing the work you do around note-taking, Andy, I support whatever allows you to breakthrough.
