!! Celebration day for food nerds: new Keller cookbook! The first French Laundry cookbook (from ’99) was a revelation to me. Cooking through it taught me more than any other resource has. I was shocked how makeable it was in a home kitchen—very few unusual supplies needed.

One of the first cook books we bought was the Ad Hoc cookbook from his restaurant of the same name and it is excellent. It’s more comfort food so less surprising it works in a home kitchen, but where he shares *how* he thinks about flavors and recipes changed the way I cooked.
