almost everyone I know who got really into twitter had their lives transformed in ways they couldn’t have anticipated. We need an MTV Cribs of twitter where people just talk about how it improved their lives

Unsettling: basically *all* my significant life improvements from the past few years are attributable to Twitter. It's responsible (directly/indirectly) for all my important new relationships of the past few years, all my current projects, my income, much of what I've learned…
Probably the most significant non-Twitter-implicated life improvement is adopting a puppy in 2018! Surprisingly hard to think of other big examples.

I feel like you've embraced a medium and have shaped it to your benefit! My theory behind why folks enjoy following you is that you're genuine, curious, eloquent & constructive in your dialogues: to me, those qualities could be conferred through other mediums with similar success
