Since indoor gatherings are no-go and private outdoor spaces are precious in cities, wonder if we'll see "AirBnB for patios / backyards." i.e. Wanna get some friends together? I'm not using my backyard; rent it for 3 hours for $75.
(bummer: pat.io is taken)

Happily, SF's case rate has fallen far enough that the calculator suggests having a few friends over indoors (masked, distanced) is becoming reasonable to do intermittently (~80 µCOVIDs for 2 guests for 2 hours, roughly half a weekly infection risk budget at 1% year).

Problem is the cleaning fee afterward. I probably don’t want possibly infected people in my backyard, using my inside toilet, for 3 hours without a thorough cleaning.

It always strike me as odd how very few patios and dehor existing in venue around SF and the Bay Area especially given the very permissive weather. Makes me wonder if there is going to be an inversion in this trend and what’s the reason for the status quo.

I recently rented someone’s pool and patio via .Their app UX is a bit rough, but I had a great time with friends at the rental.

Had the same thought re: Odds are that with most challenges - there’s an existing model that can be tweaked and adapted. wonder how your learning/ growth flywheel can be tweaked to help entrepreneurs grow in their impact/ success. Take it beyond a workforce?
