What phrase is the opposite of “eppur si muove”? That is, the vivid sense when working on a solo project that absolutely nothing will happen without you making it happen?
(Sometimes an empowering feeling, sometimes an exhausting one!)

There's the old chestnut "If not you, then who(m)? If not now, then when?"

You are Conditio sine qua non for the project, since it is Totus Tuus 🙂

Like "won't budge", but Italian? "Non si muoverà" --
By aiming for brevity, I went too far towards fruitlessness. 🤔
So "it won't move until I push it goddamnit" is appropriately frustrating and sounds lovely in Italian: "non si muoverà finché non lo spingo, dannazione" ;)
