Twitter: I am terrible at asking for help! I never think to do it. And when I do, I dismiss it, thinking “ah, it’s so much overhead to involve others that it’s easier to just handle myself.” But I’m sure I’m not asking nearly enough.
Help me! What strategies do you have here?

I may preface things with “this may be common knowledge, but does anyone know about tackling xxxx? All I have been able to find is yyyy”

You have a really good reputation, it’s okay to let it help you sometimes

Likewise, a lot of times when I do this, I find out that I’m not alone in wanting to know the answer. Being the person to actually ask the questions everyone is thinking but no one is saying is really important and helpful to getting the answers
