Twitter: I am terrible at asking for help! I never think to do it. And when I do, I dismiss it, thinking “ah, it’s so much overhead to involve others that it’s easier to just handle myself.” But I’m sure I’m not asking nearly enough.
Help me! What strategies do you have here?

One of my strategies is to think about the value it might have to another person to have the opportunity to learn the thing I’ve been doing myself.

Boy, that’s really insightful! Thanks, Adele.
Adele nailed it. An interesting example that’s perhaps easier to see: StackOverflow. Occasionally on a problem I’ll go read basically every single question & answer on a topic. Sometimes the specific answer I need isn’t in the history, but I’ve learned enough to circle in on it.
