The translation of the Odyssey by Emily Wilson and read by Claire Danes (Homeland). The translation itself is a remarkable upgrade but Danes does a remarkable reading. Never was a fan of the story until this combo opened it up.

If you did not read the Translator's note or introduction, you should. There is so much subtly going on in her word choice. Read this if nothing else. nytimes.com/2017/11/02/mag
