The Master and Margarita is, of course, incredible—but have you heard this amazing audiobook performance?? audible.com/pd/The-Master-
The narrator is unbelievable! It’s like listening to a stage play. You can *hear* Behemoth rolling his eyes at you.

Thanks for the suggestion! What did the audiobook contribute over the prose for you?

Ah, great! I haven’t read Small Gods but I love Pratchett. Thank you for the recommendation.

I just listened to Michael Sheen’s performance of La Belle Sauvage and loved it.

Splittooth by Tanya Tagaq. It's a really weird story that I don't necessarily recommend to everyone, but it is quite interesting as an unusual audiobook. The author is a classically trained Inuit throat singer, she narrates and sings at key moments. It's chilling.

has told me many times that the best way to read The Making of the Atomic Bomb is to listen to Grover Gardner's narration!

The only way! Grover Gardner makes an already-epic book truly otherworldly.
