Boy, this is really interesting! Thanks for sharing. I immediately start wondering about how to make such prompts “active.” Making yourself fill in the blanks for uncomfortable thoughts seems interesting—I notice I’ve done that in some congruent prompts about bad past decisions
Yeah, I usually made cloze deletions out of the thoughts I was flinching away from.
I had intermediate cards for the quotations with just the first letter of each word, and found that worked extremely well for me.
