Some people collect stamps; I’ve been collecting unusual applications of spaced repetition systems.
I realized today that I haven’t yet solicited the power of Twitter here! What weird use cases have you found?

Just yesterday: as a way to reinforce my self-appreciation voice by writing cards about good decisions I’ve made. (Inspired by !)

I have a deck of things I've done well that I'll go through when I need a feel-good boost. Surprising how effective it is as a mood/confidence booster

👍 As in, you put the contents of the thing itself on the "front" of a prompt, with no "back"?

exactly! I thought about making them into q/a style but felt silly after the first few attempts of forcing the format 😅

I enjoyed the suggestion that forcing the format can amount to asking yourself "who's a good boy???"

With the advice, I might give myself question prompts on the front, but on the compliments I just use the front because I don’t want to talk to myself like a dog (who’s a good boy?). A lot of the benefit for me with SR schedules is just keeping thoughts “around”
Another approach I use is to put a few keywords on the front that remind me of the thing on the back. Like so: [front: "going for a walk"] [back: "A good decision I made was to go for a walk after lunch when I felt brain fog."]
