Been thinking about this a lot in terms of this contrast: Negative energy — feeling hunted, duty-bound, in need of redemption, in fear of not being good enough. Positive energy — curiosity, joy, play, immersive flow, enthusiasm unlocked by the activity itself.

If I'm having a bad day, feeling anxious or overwhelmed, a 20 minute nap almost always sets things right. It won't necessarily fix what's wrong, but it gives me the energy to feel like I can tackle it.
