In January, I spent all day every day for a week with a reMarkable. The plan: sit on the beach; read; write; think. Being able to use my whole library outside in the sand—with digital ink!—was so freeing.
Alas it has many flaws, so I returned it…but the price just dropped 45%!

Sorry to be that guy, but have you tried Sony's digitl paper? A friend of mine is _very_ happy with it, and has tried remarkable as well

Took a look, and the software also looked quite poor. The key difference to me was that rM's (partially) open source, and I can fix the worst of its workflow problems myself.
