Anyone familiar with http://karma.fm ?
I was approached by @karmafederation to check it out, and it looks like an interesting concept for a public second brain.
Curious to hear what the experience is of other people with this platform.

I am still obsessed with the note taking/mind mapping that you shared by
@andy_matuschak. I wish that was available because that to me was the most natural progression of fluid thoughts and learning/mapping.1 reply 0 retweets 5 likes -
Good news! If you're a bit tech-savvy,
@anthilemoon has built something similar using TiddlyWiki on http://mentalnodes.com . Check her Twitter to see how she did it. Seems to be easy to set up with Glitch:https://tomcritchlow.com/2020/04/20/tiddlyblink-glitch/ …1 reply 1 retweet 6 likes -

But no need to set things up yourself. I've been able to adapt many of the principles I noticed in Andy's notes to my workflow in Roam.

Thanks for the heads up! I did quite enjoy that side by side opening of windows. To me, that really helps to show the demonstration of logic and train of thought or one’s ability to better learn. I don’t believe Roam has that feature, does it?

It actually does! Shift + click on links and they will open in the side panel :)

Roam’s sidebar is one of the biggest appeals for me. It’s possible to open multiple pages in Roam, they just appear under each other in the right sidebar. Still,
@andy_matuschak’s system with the unlimited(?) side-notes seems very useful. Big screen + Andy’s system = dream.2 replies 0 retweets 3 likes -

Nothing too wild. It’s a 27” Dell U2718Q.
