As promised, here is a beginner's guide to getting started with If you're just curious, it shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes to complete. As usual, lots of screenshots and gifs to walk you through the process.

I really like the spirit of TiddlyWiki, more so than Roam and Dynalist which I don’t use for privacy & human development reasons. Feature-wise it’s similar to notes but rather than horizontal new-window, it’s vertical anchor-links. Worth a look for most people!

Trying to reproduce 's website is exactly what got me started with TiddlyWiki :)

weekend project! tried to recreate @andy_matuschak's personal notes website: notes.andymatuschak.org • bi-directional links • transclusion • link preview • tagging • also uses [[ to look through/create pages • not-shown but working - live knowledge graph 🙏 @TiddlyWiki

Impressed how far you got so quickly! Honestly, if there were a great native editing experience for TiddlyWiki, I probably would have started there rather than rolling my own. If only VoodooPad had continued growing…

Thanks Andy! Yes the editing experience needs a bit of tweaking but the metaprogramming approach (TiddlyWiki notes can modify the behaviour of TW itself) is quite powerful and fun to play with Absolutely love your evergreen notes website, thank you for the inspiration!

Curious. What does native editing allow a user to do that is currently not possible on TiddlyWiki?
