what do you guys think are the most underrated and overrated restaurants in SF?
(Prairie, Tselogs and Frances are three of my faves, & I think Farmhouse Thai and Zero Zero are super overrated)

Underrated: Californios (ok, I know it has **, but it’s hugely underhyped relative to its peers), La Ciccia, Besharam, the vegetable menu at Angler
Overrated: all <= 1* New American that isn’t Nopa, Rich Table, Zuni, or The Progress? :/

They’re all about the seafood, and of course that’s wonderful, but you’d expect it to be. The vegetable dishes I had there were a big subset of the best veggie dishes I had last year! Radicchio XO is astonishing
