I agree, but it's an awful stable equilibrium—a much worse experience for users in many ways. I'm excited for future evolutions along the lines of Instant Apps + React Native. We were exploring that path at Apple years ago but the tech wasn't there yet. I hope they're on it now.

Do you see a future where Swift on Linux/Windows play a role in this? Wouldn't surprise me too much tbh with Google now working on Swift for Tensorflow
