Yes and: I often leave for solo bike-rides with an "agenda" of one or two hard problems to ponder. I've answered some big questions at 90RPM in the Headlands.

I've wondered about this! Thinking aloud: When the body's working hard, my mind seems freer to relax. Cycling takes few mental, uh, cycles, which helps long thought-threads grow. And the natural "blood pumping" of aerobic activity seems to energize my mental activity too.

I know I can't record my thoughts (without stopping, and I don't want to stop), so I replay and refine them longer than I might otherwise (if I could write/draw.)
