Often should be: {old users} are 1% of market, growing linearly. Either that #'s irrelevant or our new strategy's failed—ignore for now.

The longer a startup exists w/o finding product/market fit, the more history it accumulates. History biases new work through desire to not waste past effort.
Maybe better to search for ~1y then fold and reset if not happy with outcomes?
