
"What's your process?" Oh, dear, it's so messy! But at least for my team, if you rotate the classic design process squiggle, you'll see a *spiral*, with plenty of regularity—even throughout long investigations.

Oh wow, you’re totally right! Most of the time, it does feel like an inward spiral, I think, but sometimes it’s definitely expansive in this way

Yeah, I was pondering that… but it's kinda not how I think about the process! We tend to get divergent and then convergent again within each loop: research and ideation diverge, testing and question refining converge and tighten the spiral inward.
