A few thoughts about a common argument against spaced repetition 🧠
(Namely, the argument that "If an idea or fact is useful enough to memorize, your brain will retain it anyway")

Empirically from my lived experience, that argument is rapidly demonstrated false to a surprising degree once one starts using spaced repetition seriously, but I’m not sure how to design a clear experiment qualifying that.
