In 2016, we were both burning out on games and on a whim decided to move into a tiny dorm room and start challenging each other to make better games.
I forced him go to the gamedev club and I remember saying "you at least gotta meet @SmashyNick, he's legit" (the rest is history)
We sat up late at night pitching games and daring each other to actually make them. On one of these nights, he looked me dead in the eyes and was like "I have absolutely no doubt that either of us could make it in gamedev" and that's when I was like "o shit this guy's serious"
FLASH FORWARD 4 YEARS: Caelan has not just "made it", he's out here making some of the coolest shit in the business. Every time I blink, he's got 10 new skills and is pushing the envelope on the next thing. Some of the best drive and passion in the entire industry, hands down.
